Just the out takes
A brief look at some of our work where we tell a little of the blood, sweat, tears tantrums and euphoria in making things happen for clients.
Pro systems – at first we painted our hands to resemble a TV remote control box, keeping still for 5 hours whilst still trying to work the computer, it took 2 days to remove the paint but we love the finished article.
Divine curtains – We had on-lookers at a photo shoot watching us nearly fall off scaffolding where we were creating a scene by hiding bare foot behind a curtain for their ad. Always keep you feet clean!
Glass curtains – a long photo shot of kissing glass to create lipstick smudges as a theme for an ad - ended up with Sam having jaw ache and a love affair began!
Mgs – We drew people in the shower for a poster campaign and wore Viking helmets in the office to test a logo idea – Clint has fond memories of this day.
Soccercamp – we produced a video presentation with a days notice and that was presented to the Spanish sports minister at half time at the opening game of world Cup in Germany – phew!
Washroom ad – We had to boil the kettle every 5 minutes in 40 degree heat in a sweaty office in the Costa del sol to create a steamed mirror effect – phew again!
Xbox – we were surrounded by an under 12's focus group we got together when we designed an Xbox promo with Soccercamp, trying to keep everyone focused was not easy.
Illustration – nobody was allowed near the design team whilst they perfected a shadow on their sketch – as usual Website – usability logistics is always “turn the phone off time” to get it technically right Increase decrease – a moment of euphoria at three in the morning with the client when working on a branding exercise to “reverse stereotypical images” – went to prove honesty is always the best policy. |
